Agonist / antagonist screening IL-17A Prom/LUCPorter(TM) HEK293 is a stably transfected cell line which expresses SwitchGear's RenSP luciferase reporter gene under the transcriptional control of the IL-17A promoter. Induction of the IL-17A promoter by RORgammat has been demonstrated. RORgammat significantly mediated activation of the IL-17A promoter quantified by luciferase activity. This new cell line together with LightSwitch Lusiferase Assay Reagent (TM) (Catalog Nos. LS010 and LS100) from SwitchGear Genomics form a complete luciferase assay read-out system for studying the molecular signals and relative impact role of IL-17A in autoimmune models.
