Active human NCOR2/SMRT, DAD domain, amino acid 395-489, GenBank Accession No. NM_006312, N-terminal GST tag, MW= 39 kDa, expressed in E. coli system. NcoR2 , nuclear receptor corepressor, are transcriptional corepressors that play an essential role in the regulation of development and metabolism. The interaction of HDAC3 with the deacetylase activation domain , DAD, of NCOR2/SMRT is required for activation of the otherwise inert deacetylase.
