IHC, ISH Nuclear Red Solution contains a nuclear red stain in stabilizing buffer. No dilution is required prior to use. Nuclear Red Solution is optimized for in situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures using common chromogens like BCIP/NBT. Nuclei will be stained light red-pink. Cytoplasm will be light yellow or unstained. Specimens counterstained with Nuclear Red Solution should be dehydrated and mounted with a xylene-based mounting media. This counterstain is not compatible with aqueous mounting media. Nuclear Red Solution is a nuclear fast red (a.k.a. Kernechtrot) based reagent for counterstaining applications in in situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures.
