Interleukin-8, Recombinant, Equine (IL-8)

Equine interleukin 8 (IL-8) is principally produced by macrophages and is involved in neutrophil chemotaxis. PEP005 has an ED50 in the range 20-25 ng/ml determined by studies of the induction of equine IL-8 on neutrophil migration in vitro. Source: Recombinant protein expressed in pichia pastoris, Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
