Interleukin-1, beta, Recombinant, Bovine (IL-1b)

Bovine Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1 beta) is expressed by a number of cell types including monocytes, macrophages and endothelial cells., This inflammatory cytokine has a wide range of effects, such as promoting T and B cell proliferation and inducing neutrophil chemotaxis. Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Endotoxin Level: <0.5EU/ug. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
