Transcription factor that is activated in response to cellular stress and acts to prevent further proliferation of the stressed cell by induction of cell cycle arrest or apoptotic mediators. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Does not work with frozen tissue sections. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections): 2-10ug/ml, Western Blot: 1ug/ml, Immunoprecipitation: 2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
