Anti-LDLR (Low-density Lipoprotein Receptor, LDL Receptor) (APC)

LDL R is the prototype low density lipoprotein receptor. It is a transmembrane protein that plays a role in cholesterol homeostasis by mediating the uptake of low density lipoproteins. Some of the many allelic variants of LDL R cause familial hypercholesterolemia. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Myeloma with B cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Freezing Allophycocyanin conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
