Anti-Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF), clone 3H143

Granulocyte Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) is a hematopoietic growth factor that stimulates the development of neutrophils and macrophages. It promotes the proliferation and development of early erythroid megakaryocytic and eosinophilic progenitor cells. It is produced in by endothelial cells, monocytes, fibroblasts and T lymphocytes. GM-CSF inhibits neutrophil migration and enhances the functional activity of the mature end-cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0-AG144 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
