The C-X-C Chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4) is a multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. CXCR4 is a specific receptor for stromal cell-derived factor-1 (SDF-1) and is widely expressed in tissues including peripheral blood leukocytes, spleen, thymus, spinal cord, heart, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney, pancreas, cerebellum, cerebral cortex and medulla. At least 2 isoforms are produced by alternative splicing. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. , Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml, Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 0.5-1ug/ml Requires HIER using sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0 for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
