Product information "Anti-Androgen Receptor (AR, DHTR, Dihydrotestosterone Receptor, NR3C4, Nuclear receptor subfamily 3"
The Androgen Receptor (Androgen R) is a 90kD steroid hormone receptor that is critical for the development and function of the male reproductive system. Androgen R binding to testosterone or 5a-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) triggers receptor dimerization followed by translocation to the nucleus where it promotes the transcription of androgen-responsive genes. Multiple polymorphisms in Androgen R are linked to the development of prostate cancer. The ligand-binding domain of human Androgen R (aa661-920) shares aa100% sequence identity with mouse and rat Androgen R. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 cells, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Absorption: 488nm , Emission: 565-605nm, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid.
