PCR Arrays

PCR Arrays are tools for analyzing the expression of a focused panel of genes by use of quantitative real time PCR (qPCR gene expression profiling). Biomol offers Real Time Primer Libraries, which are master plates for preparation of PCR Arrays. One library contains enough primer sets for 100 PCR Arrays for gene expression profiling experiments (20 µL reaction volume each).



A primer library is a master plate for SYBR green based Real Time PCR based, pathway focused, quantative gene expression profiling. Each library contains 88 primer sets directed against pathway specific genes as well as 8 housekeeping gene primer sets for normalization. The library is provided in a 96-well microplate (20 µl - 10 µM), sufficient for 100 PCR Arrays (based on 20 µl assay volume per reaction). After preparation of your PCR Array plates, just add cDNA template and SYBR green master mix, e. g. Ampliqon RealQ Real Time PCR Master Mixes (2X, ROX, Green Dye).

Reaction Conditions:

Primer Concentration 0.1 µM Program: 95°C – 10 s, 58 °C 45 s (50 cycles) Primers are provided as a 20 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 10 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 100 PCR arrays (based on a 20 µl reaction volume) assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
