| What is an experiment without controls good for? Comprehensive controlling is a prerequisite for compelling experimental results with strong evidence. Cell lysates may serve as positive control of western blotting experiments. NanoTools offers a wide selection of cell lysates for different purposes: Cell TypeA431 Bend3 HEK 293 HeLa HepG2 HT29 Jurkat K46 MCF-7 MDA-MB-231 MDA-MB-468 MDCK Neuro2A NIH+3T3 PC12 SH-SY5Y SKOV-3 SW480 SW620 T47D THP-1 Transfected CellsmCadherin Treatment of CellsEGF-treated cell lysates Forskolin treated cell lysates IGF-1 treated cell lysates IL-4 treated cell lysates Insulin treated cell lysates LiCl treated cell lysates Pervanadate treated cell lysates PMA treated cell lysates Sorbit treated cell lysates Untreated cell lysates Generally these cell lysates are lyophilized and are reconstituted by addition of 200 µL water. After complete solubilization you add 200 µl 2x SDS-PAGE sample buffer, mix and incubate at 90 °C for 5 min. Generally the use of 20 µL for a western blot with chemilumiescent detection is recommended. The lyophilized cell lysates contain SDS and are not recommended for applications with native proteins such as immunoprecipitation. Complete Listing of NanoTools Positive Control Cell Lysates |
