For affinity purification of ATP-, GTP- or ADP-binding proteins.
γ-phosphate-linked ATP-agarose (KinaseBind™) ATP linked to a support via its γ-phosphate has been used for affinity purification of kinases, heat-shock proteins and other ATP-binding proteins. KinaseBind™ is a gamma-phosphate-linked ATP resin with a long hydrophillic spacer that facilitates molecular interactions with biomolecules. Linkage of ATP via the terminal phosphate means that the immobilised ligand cannot be removed by phosphatases in crude extracts.
ß-phosphate-linked ADP-agarose Innovas ADP agarose resin contains ADP linked via the ß-linked phosphate. The resin has a long (14-atom) hydrophilic spacer to facilitate molecular interactions with the resin. Furthermore, as with our best-selling ATP agarose resin (KinaseBind), our ADP agarose resin is resistant to the removal of phosphate groups by phosphatases in crude extracts.
