GeneAll® DirEx™ can conveniently extract the total DNA from various biological samples without the use of toxic chemical such as phenol or chloroform. DirEx™ is developed to obtain total DNA of PCR grade with only the specially formulated buffer and proteinase K. Total DNA can be obtained from 20 µl of whole blood, 2 x 106 of cultured cell or 10 mg of animal tissue using the DirEx™. DNA extraction procedures of DirEx™ consist of only two steps. The first step in this procedure is the lysis of samples with DirEx™ DNA extraction buffer and proteinase K. In the next step, proteinase K is inactivated by heating. Extracted DNA can be applied directly to PCR, sequencing, RFLP and other downstream applications related to PCR. Protocol Order Information |
