 Ready-to-use Nuclear Red Solution.
IntroductionNuclear Red Solution is a nuclear fast red (a.k.a. Kernechtrot) based reagent for counterstaining applications in in situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures. Nuclear Red Solution (ready-to-use) is optimized to avoid overstaining of nuclei and for in situ hybridization (ISH) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) procedures using common chromogens like BCIP/NBT. Nuclei will be stained light red-pink. Cytoplasm will be light yellow or unstained. Specimens counterstained with Nuclear Red Solution should be dehydrated and mounted with a xylene-based mounting media. This counterstain is not compatible with aqueous mounting media.
