Anti-Tubulin beta 3 Antibody is directed against rat Tubulin beta III protein. The antibody was Protein G purified. Cross reactivity with tubulin beta 3 from other species has not been determined. This clone is similar to the monoclonal antibody Tuj1. Protein function: Tubulin is the major constituent of microtubules. It binds two moles of GTP, one at an exchangeable site on the beta chain and one at a non-exchangeable site on the alpha chain. TUBB3 plays a critical role in proper axon guidance and mantainance.
