Bemerkungen:The RNA polymerase II subunit B1 (RPB1) is the largest subunit of the RNA polymerase II core complex. RNA polymerase II holoenzyme functions to transcribe DNA into messenger RNA in eukaryotes. RPB1 forms the DNA binding domain of the polymerase that forms a cleft that grabs the incoming DNA template to translocate the holoenzyme across the RNA-DNA hybrid. Detection of Human and Mouse RNA Polymerase II by Western Blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate from 293T (15 and 50 µg for WB), HeLa (H; 50 µg), Jurkat (J; 50 µg) and mouse NIH3T3 (M; 50 µg) cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RNA Polymerase II antibody A300-653A (lot A300-653A-3) used for WB at 0.1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.
Detection of Human RNA Polymerase II by Western Blot of Immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg/IP, 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-RNA Polymerase II antibody A300-653A (lot A300-653A-3) used for WB at 1 µg/ml and used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. RNA Polymerase II was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot (lot A300-653A-2) of this antibody. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.
