Anti-Nibrin (Cell Cycle Regulatory Protein p95, Nijmegen Breakage Syndrome Protein 1, NBN, NBS, NBS1

The p95 gene (identical to NBS1 and nibrin) is a member of the hMre11/hRad50 double-strand break complex. This protein complex has been implicated in Nijmegen breakage syndrome, an autosomal recessive disorder marked by increased cancer incidence, cell cycle checkpoint deficits, and ionizing radiation sensitivity, thus revealing a direct molecular link between double-strand break repair and cell cycle checkpoint functions. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:100, Western Blot: 2ug/ml, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
