Product information "Anti-Integrin, beta7"
Integrin beta7 is an adhesion molecule belonging to the integrin beta chain family. It forms heterodimers with the alpha subunit, most notably the integrin alpha4 and alphaE subunits, functioning to mediate migration and homing of lymphocytes to the gut-associated lymphoid tissue (GALT). The heterodimer formed with alpha4, alpha4, beta 7 is specifically involved in the homing and migration of lymphocytes to the gut, while alphaE beta7 is involved in the binding of T lymphocytes to epithelial cells and is induced by TGF beta1. Integrin beta7 has been observed in several different leukocyte lines. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. , Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1ug/ml , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC's). Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
