Anti-Delta-like 1 (DLL1, Delta1, DL1, H-Delta-1, UNQ146/PRO172)

Delta-1 acts as a ligand for Notch receptors. It blocks the differentiation of progenitor cells into the B-cell lineage while promoting cells with the characteristics of a T-cel/NK-cell precursor. It is expressed in heart and pancreas, with lower expression in brain and muscle and very little expression in placenta, lung, liver and kidney. Delta-1 is a transmembrane protein which is ubiquinated by MIB, leading to its endocytosis and subsequent degradation. It contains one DSL domain and eight EGF-like domains. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Aliquot and store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
