Anti-CD49b (Integrin alpha2, ITGA2, alpha-2 subunit of VLA-2 Receptor, Platelet Antigen B)

The Integrin alpha2 subunit, also known as CD49b and VLA-2 alpha subunit, forms a heterodimer with the Integrin Beta1 (CD29) or Beta4 (CD104) subunits and binds laminin. Applications: Suitable for use in Direct ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: DirectELISA: 0.5-1.0ug/ml detection limit for rhITGA2 is ~ 2ng/well., Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml detection limit for rhITGA2 is ~ 5ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions. , Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
