Anti-CD154 (CD40 Ligand, CD40L, TRAP), FITC conjugated, clone 3H1900

CD154 was formerly known as CD40 ligand (CD40L). It is also known as gp39, a transmembrane glycoprotein. It is a type II integral membrane protein and a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) family of ligands. CD154 is expressed by activated T-cells and serves an important function in T-APC cognate interaction through binding to CD40 on B cells, monocytes/macrophages and dendritic cells. CD154 is expressed by activated CD4+ve T lymphocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested. , Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: Neat. Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul., Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Negative Controls: Hamster IgG Negative Control: FITC, Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. , Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
