Product information "Anti-Actin, ID (Actin, cytoplasmic 1, Beta-actin, Actin, alpha cardiac muscle 1, Alpha-cardiac actin"
Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in cell motility, structure, and integrity. ACTB/ACTC are nonmuscle cytoskeletal actins and major constituents of the contractile apparatus. Defects in ACTB are a cause of juvenile-onset dystonia. Defects in ACTC have been associated with idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy (IDC) and familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (FHC). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:1000, Western Blot: 1:50-1:100, Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-1:50, Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
