Product information "Anti-rpL7a/SURF3 (IHC)"
rpL7a /SURF3 is a component of the 60S ribosomal subunit. Ribosomes are composed of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit that function to catalyze protein synthesis. RpL7a is a member of the L7AE family of ribosomal proteins that has been identified as a protein that interacts with nuclear receptors by interfering with DNA binding and transactivation. The RpL7A gene is included in the surfeit gene cluster and is designated SURF3. rpL7a is also known as 60S ribosomal protein L7a, surfeit locus protein 3, SURF3, SUR-3, PLA-X polypeptide, RPL7A, thyroid receptor uncoupling protein, and TRUP.
