FAS-associated factor 1 (FAF1) binds to FAS antigen and can initiate apoptosis or enhance apoptosis initiated through FAS antigen. Initiation of apoptosis FAF1 requires a ubiquitin-like domain but not the FAS-binding domain. Alternative names for FAF1 include hFAF-1, UBX domain containing protein 3A, UBX domain containing protein 12, UBXD12, UBXN3A, HFAF1s, and CGI-0 3[taken from NCBI Entrez Gene (Gene ID: 11124)].
Immunogen: synthetic peptide. The epitope recognized by A302-811A maps to a region between residue 550 and 600 of human Fas (TNFRSF6) Associated Factor 1 using the numbering given in entry NP_008982.1 (GeneID 11124).
