TRIM33 is a member of the tripartite motif RBCC/Trim domain family that contains a RING-finger domain, B-boxes, and an alpha-helical coiled-coil region. TRIM33 functions as an E3 ubiquitin ligase and plays a role in the TGFbeta/SMAD pathway. Alternate names for TRIM33 include E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM33, tripartite motif-containing protein 33, transcription intermediary factor 1-gamma, TIF1-gamma, ectoderm homolog, RET-fused gene 7 protein, protein Rfg7, RFG7, TIF1G, and KIAA1113.
Immunogen: synthetic peptide. The epitope recognized by A301-058A maps to a region between residue 1 to 50 of human tripartite motif-containing 33 (transcriptional intermediary factor 1 gamma) using the numbering given in entry NP_056990.3 (GeneID 51592).
